ADNOC vendor registration: steps, documents and timeline

How suppliers and contractors get registered with ADNOC, what slows the process down, and what comes after registration.

Where do you register?

Registration runs through the ADNOC Supplier Hub, which works on an SAP Ariba account. New suppliers create an Ariba ID; companies that already use Ariba link their existing profile. Registration itself is free.

The steps

01Create or link your Ariba account.
02Submit the Supplier Hub registration request and complete the profile questionnaire.
03Complete Integrity Due Diligence (IDD).
04Answer ADNOC’s clarification requests quickly.
05Get approved, then move to pre-qualification for your product or service categories.

What you need

  • — A trade licence issued by an Abu Dhabi authority, with activities that match what you supply
  • — Company and ownership details
  • — Product or service information and technical documents
  • — Financial information and VAT registration
  • — Certifications where your activity requires them
  • — Information for the integrity due diligence

Registration does not require an ICV certificate, but ADNOC uses ICV scores in tender evaluation, so most serious bidders hold one. See our ICV certificate guide.

How long does it take?

ADNOC indicates around 14 days for registration, but clarifications, due diligence and pre-qualification can extend it. Registration also does not guarantee a tender invitation; pre-qualification for each category is the next gate.

What slows registrations down

  • — Company details that do not match the licence
  • — Expired licence or documents
  • — Licence activities that do not cover the category applied for
  • — Incomplete questionnaire or missing compliance information
  • — Choosing the wrong supplier category
  • — Late answers to clarification requests

Quick answers

Can a Dubai or Sharjah company register with ADNOC?

ADNOC asks for a licence issued by an Abu Dhabi authority for local suppliers, so many companies open an Abu Dhabi branch or entity. Check the current Supplier Hub rules for your category.

Is there a registration fee?

No. You may still pay for licences, certifications, translations or attestations you need along the way.

Can overseas companies register?

Yes, through the Supplier Hub. Some overseas manufacturers and associates must be represented by an Abu Dhabi-based local agent, depending on their classification.

We are an ADNOC contractor. Can you work as our subcontractor?

Yes. TOTS Groups has an Abu Dhabi company in Mussafah, ISO 9001/14001/45001 and an ICV certificate (51.19%), which counts toward your own ICV spend. Talk to us.

General information only. ADNOC’s rules change; always confirm on the official ADNOC Supplier Hub.
